NCC issues a final warning network providers in unsolicited messages

Network providers seemed to be stubborn as many do not meet standards of the NCC against unsolicited messages. There are some months, the NCC warned that all network providers in Nigeria should give you an option for customers to opt for unnecessary messages through the code do not disturb.

MTN adhered to this by introducing the DND list at first but later demoted. Others, particularly Airtel and Glo were disturbing us with messages like you are qualified for N200 free credit when you know that it's not free.

Meanwhile, the NCC issued a final warning to all network providers to escape this law and start in 2442 (do not disturb the code), which entered into force on 1 July 2016. According to NCC, no escape his stubborn operator punishment this time.

What do you think?
