How To Activate the emergency bypass to receive calls and messages to a contact even when Do Not Disturb is enabled



IOS 10 has a new option called for emergency bypass contacts. When this option for a specific contact, alert you of calls and texts contact, even if they do not disturb or silent mode is activated incoming activated.

Step 1: Launch the Phone application.

Step 2: Go to the Contacts tab.

Step 3: Open the contact you want.

Step 4: Press the Edit button in the upper right corner.



Step 5: If you want all calls from this contact to go and press tone. Otherwise, click Tone text to force the text from.



Step 6: Set the emergency bypass switch to On. You can activate emergency bypass is ringing, text or both.
