Meet Pinebook, a low cost Linux laptop that looks like a MacBook

PineBook is a cheap laptop with a 64-bit Allwinner quad-core processor. The device is available in two screen sizes, both have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of eMMC storage along multiple ports and connectivity options. PineBook supports a number of distributions and versions of Android Linux.

If you are looking for a low-cost Linux machine that is also a MacBook Air look-alike, you may want to consider PineBook. The machine uses the same ARM-based processor found in a 64 Pine computer board.

PineBook is presented as a more practical solution for their manufacturers who can provide a large number of customers. The 14-inch Linux machine is only 0.47 inches thick and weighs 1.2 kilos.

You can run any Linux distribution or Android OS that is compatible with the A64 PINE card such as Ubuntu, Debian, Raspbian, etc. Can also run Windows IdO.
