The Apple TV 4 has been on sale for some time, and identifies enormous pressure for television applications, it was only a matter of time before the art of set-top box has been suspended.
And it seems that the time has come. According to an email obtained by 9to5Mac, Apple has informed the employees who actually discontinued the set-top box, which initially was published in 2012 and received a slight update specifications in 2013. Three years later, trying to see the Apple TV 3 landing page on Apple's website now automatically redirected to the Apple TV 4.
For its part, Apple will continue to comply with the backlog that are in place, but for new customers, Apple TV 4 is the focus.
