Samsung launches Upgrade Progam In South Korea To Compensate Note 7 Users
For those that were interested in the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, got it and had to return their various units due to the issue of explosions that plagued the device, Samsung has launched something of an upgrade programme to serve as compensation. For this programme, those users that have taken back their Galaxy Note 7 units to get either of the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge would be able to get the next flagships of Samsung for a deal and gong by reports, this would be a choice between the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy Note 8.
For this upgrade, the customers would need to pay half the price of what the Galaxy S7 units costs and foe the repairs on parts such as the LCD screen, there would be discounts up to half price on repairs which can be used at two different times of screen faults.
Announced for only the home country of Samsung, the people of South Korea have then been given up till the 30th of November to opt into this plan and for the other parts of the world, we have no tangible news to hold on to as of yet.
