Just a few days ago, Vivo made the V5 Plus official and today, they have set the unit up for pre-orders – at least, that is the case in India. The unit can be pre-ordered via the various offline retail stores that are offering it for sale and according to one of such sellers, it is stated that those that get the phone on pre-order would also be entitled to a free gift – a VR box.
Officially, the handset is supposed to be launched in India on Monday and then, the full spec sheet would be unveiled to people in the physical form. Expected to be sold for a price tag of INR 27980 (about $410), each unit would be running on the QUALCOMM snapdragon 625 chipset and have 5.5 inch of FHD screen on top. Likewise, there would be 4GB of RAM paired to an internal storage space of 64GB.
Going to the camera sensors on this one, the front is graced by a dual camera setup of both 20MP and 8MP units. O the back, we have only one 16MP unit and that makes things inverted from the specs we have been seeing on latest devices, which have their own dual cameras on the back instead.
The UI is Funtouch OS 3.0 which is based on the Marshmallow setup and in all, runs on a 3160mAh battery.
